Our steel furniture is powder-coated for additional durability against the elements. making it low maintenance. If you can store furniture under cover during winter, so much the better.
If the surface gets damaged and exposes the bare metal underneath, touch up the paintwork with car paint in a matching colour.
As with cast aluminium, it is essential you touch up any chips to the surface using a matching car or metal paint to avoid further corrosion. Further protection can be given using a clear coat of spray protection like Rustoleum or Plasti-Kote are readily available, easy to apply and effective.
