Grab this great Alan Titchmarsh garden design hack

Star of ITV’s Love Your Garden used outdoor mirrors to provide the finishing touches to last week’s featured garden makeover. First shown on Wednesday 23 August at 8pm Alan’s team set about transforming boxing coach Marcellus Baz’s garden into a Moroccan themed oasis. Cleverly using old vines and a tiled water feature to centre the attention, Alan then added mirrors to the boundary to create the illusion of depth and borrow extra light.

Here’s what Alan said,

“The garden mirrors really provide the finishing touches to your garden. Garden mirrors are a great way to really enhance your outdoors. From small porthole mirrors which look great hung on a brick wall or wooden fence to large arched windows which can be propped against a hard surface and blended in amongst foliage to hide its corners, garden mirrors have the ability to help create an even more wonderful world with nature than you already have at the back, front, or side of your home.”

Award winning garden designer Alan Titchmarsh went on to give details of the “Crocus Garden Mirror” featured, which we think looks remarkably like this Antique Green Birdcage Style Garden Mirror

We think our mirror is beautiful and so is the one Alan Titchmarsh advocated his “pretty little garden mirror has detailed metal work standing proud of the frame”. And ours comes to you with a saving of £15! So if you take Alan’s advice and “have a set of two or three of these in a row” your saving courtesy of shopping with SandEdge.com could be considerable. So why not follow Alan’s garden mirror design ideas to bring light and depth into your garden and save yourself serious cash at the same time.
